Role : Visual Designer
Project : Brand & Visual Identity
Onchain Foundation researches the decentralised internet from Zug, Switzerland. As Visual Designer I shaped how that research meets the world: the identity of its reports, the template systems behind its channels, and two sibling brands built under one roof: Onchain Heroes, the foundation's podcast and community brand, and Founders Bookshelf, its reading series for builders. Two marks, one temperature, ember orange on near-black.

Onchain Foundation
Onchain Heroes puts builders on the record, so the mark is a microphone drawn in the brand's own parts: a dice-grid body borrowed from the Onchain identity, the foundation's loop glyph at its base, and a flame where the capsule should be, a mic that has caught fire. It locks up with a rounded grotesque wordmark and holds on dark or light without losing heat.

The system was built to be handled, not framed. The flame lifts off the mic to work alone: on the studio wall behind the recording table, cut into die-cut stickers, oversized on totes and chest-high on hoodies. Behind the merch sits a full guideline deck (construction, colour, favicons and the social kit) so any editor can ship an on-brand episode without asking.

Founders Bookshelf recommends the books behind the builders, so the mark is built from reading itself. An opened book fans out like a spread of pages, a page stack tucks in beside it, and the Onchain loop signs the corner. Three parts, one glyph, legible at avatar size and as a rendered object glowing off the shelf.

The identity leans print-first: a letterhead and card system in ember orange and near-black, the mark woven onto caps, and a vertical banner where the fanned pages glow like shelf light through a doorway. The gradient bars that fan the logo double as the brand's pattern across posters and social.

Two brands, one visual temperature, and channels that grew with it.
Both identities shipped as complete systems, guideline decks, social template kits, print and merch, under the Onchain Foundation umbrella. The social template systems built on this language helped grow the foundation's following by more than 300%, and the podcast and reading series each got a face the community recognises at a glance.
